KAPROTEX ‘s new generation diffusion roof and facade covers, vapour control covers are produced on state-of-the-art lines. The entire production process takes place in a production facility in Nowa Dęba. This allows us to control the entire production process of our diffusible covers, because we also produce nonwoven and functional film ourselves.

KAPROTEX nonwovens used for the production of new generation diffusion open roof and facade covers, vapour control covers are produced with the latest technology and are called bicomponent (nonwowen). As the name suggests, nonwoven consists of fibres with double structure. A layer of polypropylene is cast on top of the main fibre and forms a kind of tube covering the inner fibre.

-Thanks to the application of bicomponent nonwovens, the new generation of covers has better tear resistance (about 40% increase by mass), better flexibility and a more homogeneous distribution of the main fibres. This results in a more homogeneous cover.

-New generation blankets are physically different from commercially produced blankets, even though they have the same mass.

as thicker. This is a result of the application of dual component nonwovens.

-Unlike many products available on the market, our diffusion roof, facade and vapour control membranes are made entirely of polypropylene (not only nonwovens but also functional film). Most manufacturers currently use polyethylene film, which is cheaper and easier to process during production. Polypropylene film has proven to have much better parameters. Namely, it has more UV resistance and better temperature resistance, which consequently increases its durability on the roof. As proof of the above argument, polyethylene begins to lose its properties and plasticisation at a temperature of about 80°C and the same happens with polypropylene at a temperature of about 130°C .

-Marma Polskie Folie are UV stabilised. In this way, the covers are well protected from the effects of UV rays.

-The most important parameter for the end customer in the case of diffusion roof and facade covers is that the exceptional qualities of all these solutions help us to maintain the vapour permeability parameters in the best way. This is and remains our biggest advantage in the market.

Marma Polskie Folie has a laboratory equipped for full testing of diffusion-open roof and facade membranes. This allows us to continuously control all production processes. We can also test samples of our competitors’ products, which gives us the knowledge to always stay one step ahead and helps us to introduce new solutions and technologies.

-In addition, we conduct research on the durability and practical functionality of our products on experimental roofs. Therefore, we are confident that we can recommend our products in different applications due to their durability over time, maintaining their parameters and ensuring that they fulfil their functions on the roof for many years.

KAPROTEX diffusion-open roof – facade covers are building materials that allow moisture to pass through freely. This helps to expel the moisture accumulated inside the buildings and contributes to keeping the structures robust and durable.

Areas of use of new generation diffusion roof and facade membranes:

Roof Coverings: Diffusible roofing membranes are used to cover the roof of a building. These covers allow the moisture under the roof to be expelled and thus prevent the roof from rotting, mould and prolong the aging period of the materials under the roof. They can also increase energy efficiency. Facade Coatings: Diffusible facade covers are used to cover the exterior facades of the building. These covers help to expel moisture inside the building, while preventing damage to the facade. They can also contribute to energy saving.

Restoration and Renovation Projects: </During the restoration or redesign of old buildings, diffusion roof and facade covers can be used. This can increase the durability of old structures and comply with modern energy standards.

KAPROTEX vapour control covers are used to prevent moisture from circulating freely within building structures.

Areas of use of vapour control covers:

Insulation in Hot and Cold Climates: In buildings in hot or cold climates, it is used to prevent the spread of moisture within the thermal insulation system. This increases the comfort of the interior and improves energy efficiency.

Moulded Facades and Roofs: </Used to provide moisture control on the interior of insulated facades and roofs. This increases the effectiveness of the insulation and prevents the infiltration of moisture damaging the structure.

Hospitals and Laboratories: </In sensitive environments, vapour control blankets are used to control humidity. Especially in places such as hospitals and laboratories, it is important to prevent unwanted moisture from seeping in.
