KAPROFLEX – ULTRA PLUS Rose Dry 300mm

KAPROFLEX Chimney and Wall Bottom Waterproofing System consists of system products specially developed by NESA SİSTEM PRODUCTS for chimney bottoms and wall bottoms.

KAPROFLEX Chimney and Wall Bottom Waterproofing System consists of products designed for trouble-free and long-lasting waterproofing. The system products provide integrity with the roof and complement the roof aesthetics with harmonious colours.

KAPROFLEX ULTRA PLUS is an extruded tape for making chimney bands. It is made of EPDM material. EPDM stands for Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer. EPDM has the following properties;

– Excellent resistance to weather conditions and light
– Excellent filling compatibility
– Excellent elasticity
– Excellent resistance to low temperature environments
– Chemical resistance is high against heat and ozone

It is distinguished by the highest quality and durability, exceptional flexibility and ease of installation compared to other tapes for chimney and wall bottom insulation. Its three-dimensional pattern makes it possible to install it in difficult and inaccessible areas of the roof, increasing the strength of both the product and the application. The adhesion of butyl to the entire surface makes the product self-adhesive, allowing easy, tight and long-lasting connection around the chimneys. The product is resistant to long-term effects of weather conditions such as UV rays, frost, rain, humidity and ageing processes.

KAPROFLEX ULTRA PLUS is made of EPDM reinforced with aluminium mesh and butyl adhesive applied across the entire width. This ensures easy and convenient installation.

Mounting Conditions:
– the adhered surface must be dry and free of grease.
– outside temperature should be between +5 °C and +40 °C.

Mounting Method:
– loosen the roll of the flue tape
– remove the protective spacer from the adhesive
– place the tape around the chimney, paying particular attention to the corners
– adjust the curved edges to the shape of the coating
– protect the upper edge of the chimney band with a pressure bar
