KAPROVENT – PLUS

Ridge applications are very important on roofs. KAPROVENT ridge system can be applied to eliminate the negative effects of mortar applications.

In this system, which we can also call dry ridge application, it is a system that ensures the continuity of the ventilation of the roof and ensures the passage of the air inside to the outside. In addition, KAPROVENT ridge applications are more aesthetic and long-lasting.

KAPROVENT plus is a felt-based ventilation and sealing tape.

It is used to cover the ridge tiles of ventilated pitched roofs lying on battens and battens. Thanks to the use of specially selected raw materials, it provides excellent protection against the ingress of water and moisture under the roof surface and at the same time ensures maximum free air flow. The exceptional flexibility of the product is ensured by the suitable aluminium profile mould and the special adhesive ensures easy and convenient installation even in the most difficult solutions in the ridge structure. In addition to its excellent ventilation properties, Kaprovent also protects the roof against insects. It is distinguished from other ridge tapes by its high strength among ridge tapes.

KAPROVENT STANDARD Material Details:

It consists of a densely layered felt-based non-woven fabric with excellent ventilation and two strips of aluminium tape varnished in the metallurgical process. Butyl glue is applied on the strips. The materials are sewn together with special, waterproof threads. The aluminium with folded edges additionally strengthens the product and protects the material during assembly.

Temperature resistance: -40 °C to + 90 °C

Roll dimensions: length 5 m, width 180 mm, 240 mm, 300 mm.

Available colours: Rose Dry, Anthracite Grey

Assembly Conditions:

• the glued surface must be dry and degreased.
• the outside temperature should be between +5°C and +40°C.

Mounting Method:

• loosen the tape roll on the back strap
• fix the middle part with a stapler
• remove the protective spacer from the adhesive strips
• adjust the folded edges to the shape of the lid
